I said I would accept details by email but she was insistent upon a 'home visit' and that they 'didn't have any materials she could send'. Totally insidious. Persuaded my father to download files that gave them remote access then got him to access his online bank account as "Microsoft" had accidently paid him 4000 GBP. Bullied him into trying to "pay it back" and eventually insisting he go to the Post Office to pay them back. After 2 hours Dad was utterly distressed and put the phone down. We had to cancel all his debit and credit cards, run a 4 hour PC clean up and called in the police.
