A man called Ricki called me with a scam saying my computer was being used by criminals to get all my data. When I phoned call back BT had recorded the call from 07403655570
Said was from housing repair and I had reported a problem to to them. I did not.
Didn't call me by name at the start of the call, and later asked for bank details. This is irrelevant to my satisfaction with BT which is what the call was supposedly about.

Automated call from 01189668073 on my virtually unused landline threatening to cut off my internet service in 24 hours due to illegal activity. This was recorded by my answer phone and the message invites you to press 1 to speak to the technical department. No doubt that would then be some scam which is being deployed.

Apparently this number is safe but I don't know anyone in Glasgow. As tax returns reached their deadline last night, and as this is from Glasgow, I wondered if someone was trying to tell me I owed tax as a scam. Claiming to be novuna finance Company they have managed to scam my daughter in law and son out of £329 saying they had to pay this for credit check and insurance it's only till they asked them to send £150 via an argos gift card they realised it's a scam and now they have lost all their money I spoke to novuna finance the ligit company while they was on phone and they said it was a scam and with that the scammer hung up and now can't get hold of them
