Twice we have had calls from this Asian sounding chap with the same Microsoft computer virus scam as everyone else. Early morning calls.
SCAM Automatic voice message. When you call them back they say that they call on behalf of HMRC.
Fraud More washing machine expired warranty cold calling. Very persistent female commanding voice after the customary pause you get with these calls. The remarkable thing is this is just one of a number of calls I ve had about a minor car accident I had about a year ago. My phone number was given to my insurance company ( a reputable company I ve always thought ) someone passed it on to these chancers. We talk about the rising menace of fraud and scams, this practise of selling on customers details has to stop. Whatever happened to the data protection act?

An obvious scam, reported to NCSC and O2 as it looks like they’re trying to scam users into giving O2 account passcodes which is fraud.
