Just checking this number as the call was terminated when l spoke to answer it.

This number called once in afternoon and once in evening approx 7.15 I answered the evening one and it was a loud screeching noise like a fax machine

After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. My answerphone is permanently on to intercept this sort of thing. These people have started leaving malicious and abusive messages. Thought this went beyond telemarketing so reported them to police. Their response was to advise if I don t want abusive calls don t use answerphone! Not sure who s the bigger waste of space, cretinous telemarketers or the Met.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. Very pushy salesman re replacement windows quoting something about a scappage scheme for windows installed pre 2012. Told him house was built in 2015 so I wasn t interested but he wouldn t accept this as a reason to decline. Still talking as I ended the call. Now blocked.

I answered once, sad computer scam wanting all your computer details, told them I had no computer, they rang off immediately!!! There was a gap of a few months and then my call minder registers they call, regularly, sometimes three times a day. I now screen calls with call minder but it is maddening to have to clear the call minder daily as they are not the only Company who harass in this way. Would be great if this kind of thing could be stopped for good.
