I dialled this number back because I could not understand the woman and I got a message saying "if this number called you it was probably a hoax call" ???? i've never heard that before!

SCAM - they pretened to be from Carphone Warehouse, but it's not genuine - the email they sent is similar, but misspelled on purpose. Dont give them any of your details!

Attempted scam involving dubious Visa payments, two detailed of £900 and £247. Press 2 to query them and the first thing they ask is for your name, in a heavy foreign accent. Just hang up.

Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. I hung up an obvious scam call as how can they know who in the household picks up the call as there might be 5 of us with cards and Amazon accounts!

Robotic voice claiming to be from HMRC saying I was being investigated for tax fraud and press 1 to be connected. No thanks.

Fraud. Pretending to call from HMRC. Didn't know my name. Told them if they're calling from HMRC the least they should know is my name. Call was supposedly from Liverpool too, not a Liverpudlian accent to be heard.

Claimed to be from o2 offering 30% discount on bills due to cost of living crisis - clearly targeting vulnerable people who may be desperate. Offered no information to validate who they were & told me "don't you worry about that" when I asked any questions!

Told me they were ringing as I had a car on finance; I don't. Then asked if I had purchased a car on finance or PCP between 2014 and 2019, again, answered no. Then asked if I had mortgage or loan recently, again said no. Then ended the call. Hopefully with those answers, they won't bother calling again.

This number was used for a scam call supposedly from BT Internet. I think it is probably an ordinary valid number, Scammers seem able to hijack numbers and this is one of several received recently from other members

Scam call, purporting to be calling from BT with regard to our internet connection. When I suggested to the Indian sounding caller that his call was a scam, he hung up.

Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. I was targeted for an unusually precise scam 26/05/23 in which a group telephoned me apparently with specific knowledge of my bank organisation, my name and mobile number. The scam started by suggesting there was fraudulent activity on my bank account, and that the account was being temporarily suspended. What surprised me was that they knew who I banked with, and also spoofed the relevant bank telephone number

I have got no idea who this is...I am in the Netherlands and every day I am receiving AT LEAST 5 calls from different UK/London numbers including this one, all from the above location Carter Lane Gardens. I dont answer and when I did try to call one of the numbers back I got a recorded message telling me the number wasnt in use. Getting seriously fed up with it.
