Stephen Peterson (Indian accent on a poor line) from "Windows PC Support". As with other reports - claiming that there are errors from my PC. Gave 08081433718 to call back on, but I have ignored it all so that I could check out who these people are. Clearly scammers as I suspected, but he does his best to sound convincing and gives some details and even a post code in Reading which is Microsoft's Headquarters (RZ6 1WG), but not enough details to make it genuine (as it clearly is not). Had a missed call from this number. Thought it was a normal mobile so rang them back. I was then told by my mobile company I had insufficient funds to make the call. I have free minutes as a PAYG customer, but always keep a bit of credit as well just in case. I then found that calling this number had cost me money, not sure how much, but if I had had more credit I think it would have cost a lot more. My network have been very unhelpful about this!

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8435667xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?

I have now had 2 phone calls from this number a man calling himself Tom called both times, from a government initiative company regafding the loft lagging (althougn I have never heard it called lagging in this country it is loft insulation) I told him the first time that I was with the TPS and also a housing association tenant, he has just called again and again I explained that I'm witht he TPS and asked him to remove my number from the database and that I was a tenant not a home owner, again he just hung
