It asked me to click 1 to cancel these transactions or 2 to speak to an adviser. I am aware my bank will not call me with an automated message of such nature - please be aware !!

SCAM Only one person calls me on my landlinge and that's my brother but somehow it seems to have been circulated to scammers and/or on the dark web. SCAM Fraud Claiming to be Amazon.....I was on my amazon account when they rang. These guys send you a code so you click on it and they will have remote access to your mobile phone and gain all the information including your banking. Just delete the messages they send you if you have a conversion with them. Once I told them I knew they were scammers they hung up and went on their way.

This was a call from a person saying they were from Virgin Media reporting that our internet had been hacked on numerous occasions to cut a long story short I was asked to download the TeamViewer App onto my iPad so they could “put everything right” they were very convincing and I foolishly parted with some money before my switched on son overheard me and hung up the call, I have deleted the app and contacted by bank to report the “Scam” I wanted to forewarn everyone if they receive a call hang up immediate

Scam. Said they were from sky and I may have offers, tried to get me to have fibre broadband. I stupidly gave my address, email etc. Just contacted sky & it appears that it’s not one of their numbers. There’s a recording if you ring the number back that does say it’s a recording on behalf of sky. Just be careful not to give any details.

This number first will be an auto recording messaging saying it is from HMRC and if need to talk to a real person, press one. Then someone will ask your name and then says you are under legal charges and ask if any legal advisor will be with you. When you say to them that they are scam, they will cut off the line

Number called me, no one spoke on the other end of the call. I hung up and called back and the number wasn't recognized.

Number shown was a 01189 local number so i picked it up. No answer and the it hung up. Dialed 01471 to retieve number but, it actually was 018731006? meaning this was a scam caller.
