Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. Received a call from Amir from Contractor Resource to discuss life insurance. He advised that I had contacted them several years ago about a quote. When questioned about GDPR he advised that he would have my details removed. I have no recollection of ever enquiring about Life Insurance with any company.

Text job scam on Whatsapp. I never applied for such a thing. There was an “intern” copy pasting the job requirements. The job itself seemed too good to be true. I looked up the actual company said number was impersonating on Linkdin and the roles offered were for experienced workers (not trainees like the scammers said) and had roles for very specific areas of the uk. The scammer couldn't elaborate on where this “job” is based but it could miraculously work from home. They had very bad English grammar.

Very dangerous. Auto message claiming to be bank fraud office and advising 3 suspect transactions. Asked to press 1 if ok, 3 if not. Did not even give name of the bank! Red flag that auto - they always talk to you in person - they would also want to check that it was actually the custoner talking to! Another red flag re instruction go press button.

They yust phoned up but never left a message. Thats why i always have the answer phone on if they can't talk to you they can't sell you anything. That keeps the conmen at bay.
