UK (not sure why it comes up as Hanoi on here!) - Worldwide scam phonecall from DHL in the UK spoofing the actual DHL customer service number so it looks/sounds legit, automated Chinese voice asking you to press 9 to speak to someone regarding a parcel, then repeats the message in Chinese. To STOP .......We were receiving calls on a daily basis from 0161 237 7500 and the message gives you 0161 236 2565 to be removed from call list. When you dial this number - it does not connect. After some digging on the internet (No1 Accident Claims Manchester) I found another number 0844 844 9199 - does not connect but hey oh two emails:- [email?protected] and [email?protected] Sent them a strongly worded email to get my number removed. Lets see whether it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scammer ....called at 6pm said he had three simple questions to ask ?? then wanted to confirm house number and postcode so i just gave him the runaround till he hung up !!!!

My "Hello" was intended to be loud enough to hurt the caller s eardrums. He or she rang off. but not before I was able to hear the familiar crackling noises which are usually the give-away to these people s criminal intentions. They use different made-up numbers each day.

On The Go Removals called to confirm my booking with them as I ve ordered a removals company for my house move.
This number keeps calling, when I answered an automated voice says "Goodbye" now blocked number on our call blocker BT phone..
This number rang me twice in the space of 5mins, never spoke just hung up..I rang 1471, the reply sounded like a fax machine but not a fax machine. Still don't know who it is.

Called Sunday morning claiming to be doing a health survey for the government. Told them i needed proof. Gave me a couple of freephone numbers to ring which also seem dodgy. having read this thread I ve no doubt they will phone again but forewarned is forearmed.
Rang numerous times to here, when answered there is a long silence, when a voice does enter the equation they were very rude to me and shouted down the phone why I wasnt listening.
My wife got a call from this No today, the usual PPI scam. They said the are phoning because my wife agreed to take part in some lifestyle survey, utter lies & bollocks. Have now blocked their number via the new BT FREE call blocking

Just had a call to my landline from this number, saying it was a survey about loft installation and asking me to confirm a few details , which I refused to do, and then he said its nothing to worry about, I said I wasn't worried about anything otherwise it would be me ringing up someone, not them ringing me. I let him babble on a bit more and then said let me stop you there, it's my Husband you need to talk to not me and he's not in, so he just hung up. I would say this was a SCAM.
