Cold caller claiming to be wanting to do a "young persons disability survey". Probably computer generated dialling since I am ex-directory and they had no idea as to the age generation they were talking to.

I received a called yesterday and today from this number 01924930589. Answered it just and then they spoke and put it down. Tried to call back it's a automated message saying you were called to by cost busters can't connect to our some crap like that

Said he was called Jack from BT Business Head office and he could do me a better deal than by Local BT Business office. Jack, you seem to be the only person working for BT Business as you are the only person making these sales calls, for such a large business!!. I don't believe this is BT as you can see in other searches Jack seems to be the only person making these calls, probably to gain information about your business. He didn't get any from me. Possibly dangerous.

A lady with a very strong accent told me she was from Microsoft and was ringing about a problem with my computer, I told her I had had these calls before and did not believe her.

He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. A call waa made to my phone on 3rd of April from this the number 09036946928. I called the number back to see who it was for about 14 seconds but recieved no response. Later I relaised I was charged by my phone compny for +£6. My operator told me that the call to number 09036946928 is a preimum rate call. Now, I am keen to find out who they are and who this phone number belong to and what netweork operates this number. Please advise if you have any information.

SCAM They ask you to tell them the OTP - one time password code that they request to be sent to your phone. If you tell them the code they can order anything from Amazon Prime and use any save payment details associated with your account. DO NOT TELL THEM THE SIX DIGIT CODE!!!

Says they are from O2 and told me that I am getting a massive discount on my contract as I've been with them for so long. The funny thing is, I'm not even with O2 and as soon as I pointed this out (while laughing) they immediately hung up.
