Missed call - Has called me on numerous times, never leaves any messages. I have no idea who this is other than I can see its a London Number. As I dont know who's calling me, I dont answer - right pain, I cant seem to find out who is calling me.

They rang to say they were conducting a survey on behalf of BBC AND ITV . Allegedly to improve TV viewing. I can't see the BBC doing anything alongside the itv.

Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Googled his number whilst he was on the line and numerous reports of him being a scammer and not E-on. This number was supposedly called at 8.05am on a Sunday morning from my TalkTalk phone. Followed almost immediately by at 4 minute call to 08444930787 (BA number) definitely not us and TalkTalk are investigating

These days it is well worth having caller display on a land line - mobiles have it anyway. So for all these callers, 0845-, unavailable, withheld, etc., just lift the receiver and drop it back immediately, or, on a mobile, answer the call and immediately shut it down. This stops answerphone message.
