I called this number back as they left a partial number. It was a old Scottish lady who had missed a call and used the 1471 service that her our phone number, but we were out at the time, so scammers are using some technology to fool phone systems.

At least 2 calls a day from this number... I never usually answer because I am working. It is something about finance and binary options. Told them to take my number off the database and they called me back 5 minutes later and hung up on me.
Scam call from HMRC claiming there is a warrant out for my arrest! Handy, since that gave me plenty of forewarning to run & hide abroad in my tax haven. Asked me for my NI number which I declined, then hung up.

SCAM Logged this call as scam because they first asked to speak to Mr Xxx (my Dad). I told her he's dead and didn't live here anyway so she asked to speak to Mrs Xxx (my Mum), so I told her SHE'S dead as well and also did not live here. I don't know which company she was pretending to call from because I didn't ask her as I was so angry - both my parents have been dead for over two years now, plus our phone number here is ex-directory and on the TPS Do Not Call list.

Said they were safe call (yes media solutions) would stop nuisance calls for £149 for 5 years. As I work night shifts which they woke me up I agreed and gave card details. Once I was off the phone I checked the number on this site andthen phoned my bank to cancel my card they sounded so believable and could kick myself for being so stupid. I managed to stop my card before any money was taken out
