The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.
A couple of days ago I got two text messages confirming an appointment" in East Dulwich London. Needless to say I had no such appointment. I checked the address and it appeared to be a company renting out marquees. I also checked the phone numbers and thus I found this site. Now they have started ringing me but leaving no message. Received a call from this number regarding compensation for an accident I had last year. When I told the caller I wasn t interested, he said "well, you re just going to keep getting calls then!" I said, "Well, you can do, but you d be an idiot as i just won t answer" and he said "and you re a slag!". I replied "I don t think that s very professional!" and he put the phone down on me.

A scam at 8:02 in the morning. Automated call claimed to be my internet provider (did not say which one) and that due to illegal activity on my line would close my link in the next 24 to 48 hours unless I pressed 1 on the phone keypad (which I declined to do). I did not respond but left line open until caller ended the call.
SCAM - automated call saying I was under investigation by HMRC and there was a warrant for my arrest for non payment of taxes. Wanted me to press 1, which I didn't - can't be 100% sure but I expect they were after personal/bank details, in any case it's not a legitimate call.
Almost certain this was a scam.
