SCAM Called asking could I confirm if I had been involved in an accident (I hadn't). I asked not to call my number again, which resulted in further calls which I didn't answer. My number was illegally acquired from an ad which I had placed on the Gumtree website, so beware where you post your phone numbers to!

She then said she was transferring me to someone else to hand over personal details. I laughed at her & put the phone down. She rang back immediately after to which I ignored the call. Just got call from this number. It rang once and then cut off. A few seconds earlier I had just deleted a message from Orange/EE regarding tickets. Too much of a coincidence me thinks !!!!
Claim to be from BT Openreach about issues with our router. Shame we’re not with that company. She kept insisting that even though we weren’t with them she needed to tell us about these issues with her router. When I challenged her about the fact that it was a scam and how could she live with herself and that BT had nothing to do with our router and couldn’t see our router she stuck to her guns that she was legit and needed to tell us what was happening with our router. I just hung up.

Scammers trying to tell me I have a virus on my Microsoft PC. Wanted to remotely control my pc to remove a virus.
Had a call from this number today. Automated voice message saying someone trying to use £800 from debit card for a gambling place in the USA. They said they was from the fraud team. It also said they were not letting that £800 to come off debit card until I had spoken to someone. It tells you to press 1 to speak to an agent. I didn't want to speak to anyone so I put the phone down. The Automated voice sounded very familiar. People please don't fall for this.

SCAM - Received a call from their number. Computer female voice telling me my MasterCard had been used to make a payment to a foreign country for £600. That's when I hung up. Very aggressive foreign caller told me a woman in Mexico was trying to access my computer and it would be disconnected for about 25 days. First he said he was Windows security and when I said all our devices were Apple he said he was calling from Apple security. I asked to speak to his supervisor, who was English, but finally I hung up. Much more aggressive than any other cold call I e had.
