Usual asian call center thicko scammer, claiming to be from social housing repair team, ffs, how thick can you get, if you're going to try scamming someone it has to be a believable company and the above certainly isn't that. They don't like being called liars either.

SCAM Called saying they were from BT and my internet speed had been reported as an issue. A technician are working on it, but it was software on my router that was wrong. Got me to look up internet speed. Gave them fake results, which would have been top drawer, to be told they were not good Passed me to another technician to get me to open windows run and enter 'www.anydesk.com'. That scam has been doing the rounds for years. Told them I worked in IT, and they hung up!

It urges you to press 1 to have further details about the case before they issue an arrest warrant. Block number and report. It is so funny how the UK govt allows number spoofing and can not get to know who uses these numbers. It is no brainer that o2 could identify who uses this spoofed numbers. Received a text which I believe to be a scam text message claiming that I should visit a website to claim my £400 entitlement for the new Government fuel bill discount scheme, yet my fuel providers have already previously stated that I need do nothing as the discount will be applied automatically without me having to claim it.

SCAM making out to be a Television Repair Insurance company. Very persistent when you tell them that you haven’t got one. Scam call about errors from Virgin internet! Usual crap!

Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.

Calls using various Manchester-area phone numbers usually starting 0161 531 ****. WARNING IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM PRETENDING TO BE A GOVERNMENT SCHEME! If you don't recognize the number DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! and then if the line goes dead, congratulations, you've just escaped being scammed!

I was called at 12:30 while eating my lunch, it was a woman saying she was an energy advisor in my area. When I said "sorry what company are you from", she rudely hung up! Obviously a fraud as I live near ther south coast not in the area of Blackburn.
