This number called me and said they were calling about an accident I had within the last 3 years. I asked her what accident would that be? She said you tell me! I said no you seem to know so much about me you tell me. She was so rude. She said don t give me that all you had to say was yes or no. She didn t ask me if I d had an accident so how could I answer yes or no. I said how dare you cold call me then kick off. She went yeah yeah whatever and put the phone down! Unbelieveable. Called to say I had been in an accident, I informed them that I had actually passed away in the accident and they promptly hung the phone up - Obviously they did not want to talk to a ghost!

Picked up the phone and an Asian-sounding gentleman answered. He said he wasn t conducting a survey, but just wanted to ask a few questions. Q1) Who provides your television service? Still sounded like a survey to me, so I politely declined and put the phone down.

Scam call. lady phoned claiming to phone on behalf of TPS. Asked for expiry date on debit card to verify who I was. Alarm bells ringing!!

The remarkable thing is this is just one of a number of calls I ve had about a minor car accident I had about a year ago. My phone number was given to my insurance company ( a reputable company I ve always thought ) someone passed it on to these chancers. We talk about the rising menace of fraud and scams, this practise of selling on customers details has to stop. Whatever happened to the data protection act?

It seems these companies are only doing there targets, As the customer says yes (with OVR function) they just deduct the amount from your account Debit/Credit Card. The biggest fool part is that they are not with there words and for this they have to pay now. At this point when you want to talk again to them and call on those numbers it says number u dialed is not valid . It sucks now what to do i am really irritated. They deducted a handsome amount from my debit/credit amount. Before they said nothing

Said there had been a fraud on my debit card of £600 for an overseas account and offered help to cancel it. I put down the phone.

The caller didn t identify the company they were calling on behalf of and when it became obvious I wasn t going to fall for his sales spiel he abruptly hung up the phone.

I have called applianceserve on 08004118899. I said I had asked for a refund of the £175 I had paid for my washing machine to cover the next 3 years following the expiry of the manufacturer s guarantee but had not received any response. Having seen comments on the internet saying it was a scam, I said if the company is genuine then please can you arrange a refund. She looked up my details and said someone will call me tomorrow in office hours. She sounded pleasant - so - watch this space!!

They rang my number 6 times in 5 minutes while I was in work, I ve now blocked them.
