Automated message to landline saying it was time sensitive from HMRC & court proceedings would follow if we didn't contact them on number provided

They were calling "homeowners" in my area to talk to be about managed security. They wouldn t tell me where they got my number from and hung up on me.

Called and the typical robot lady spoke before handing me to her supervisor - claims handlers looking for accidents and personal loss.

A guy called Paddy rang asking for me by name saying I could get compensation for being ill on a all inclusive holiday,this was quite plausible as I was ill on holiday he went on to say they needed my nat insurance number and for me to email them a photo of my self so they could proceed with my claim, as if I would give that sort of info over phone, total scam

Called asking me to confirm I d been in an accident. I said yes (I hadnt however) and asked who had informed them. I was transfered to a supervisor who then asked me where it happened and when. I repeated my question and they hung up

These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". Likely scammers or time wasters. Searched for 30 times in the past three days. Also automatically blocked by my BT Blacklist (BT Call Protect) - good riddance to them! :-)

This number calls and hangs up immediately. I called back at some point and ended up with the 08009174992. There I was able to let me emphasize from the call list.

I received a call from this number to my home telephone at about 15.50hrs in the afternoon. I answered quickly as I was sat next to my telephone and could hear background sounds resembling a call centre but no-one spoke to me so I hung up. Presuably some sort of cold-call.
