Scam. Definitely. So-called call from "security department". I asked 'security department' of what? The woman (Asian voice - lots of background "office" noise) repeated, 'This is the Security Department!' to which I repeated "Of what?!" She hung up. Point made. Case closed. Catch the bastards!
Automated message - asking about a car accident I'd been in... I don't own a car. *slow clap* Tempted to actually follow through with the call and lead them on until I get the opportunity to state my injuries as "fatal" - and that I should sue for manslaughter.
Was calling, had all the wrong details about me, was after another name, but then decided they d try with their spiel anyway. Not sure if it s genuine or not, but was trying to get me interested in smart meters for my gas/electric. I told them I was on direct debit and that swiftly ended the call.

Received a call today 7 Aug 20 at 10.07am, the caller cuts his call when asked to leave a message.
SCAM: left a message saying your 'Argos delivery between 7:15pm and 9:15pm. Your driver John is 20mins away. Any issues call 07544720028. Obvious scam as we are not expecting any Argos delivery. DO NOT CALL BLOCK AND DELETE. DANGEROUS !!

This number called me and said they were calling about an accident I had within the last 3 years. I asked her what accident would that be? She said you tell me! I said no you seem to know so much about me you tell me. She was so rude. She said don t give me that all you had to say was yes or no. Another call from a similar number (02088813751) that I got a few minutes earlier, but with slightly different number, same location. I disconnected before anyone spoke this time.
