A scam offering 40% off your O2 account. - I know it is a 100% scam as (a) I have had one of these calls before and (b) I ceased to be an O2 customer 4 years ago. Suspect someone hacked their site or an ex-employee has flogged their data to scammers. Foreign guy said he'd send a special code in a text/email but to not divulge it to anyone - probably because everyone gets the same and they don't want you to compare notes!

The guy (very strong asian accent but his name is "Jason") said he was from my mobile provider, so I asked who, and he said EE, to which I replied I am not with EE as it doesn't work well in my area, he then said I was lying to him. He proceeded to say he could see everything etc and was kind of creepy, usually I don't swear at call centre staff, even dodgy ones, but this guy was creepy!

Call center SCAM - was called by 524 5430 last week so blocked, then today received a call frm 524 5541 relating to insulation. These are such a pain, the government should do something about this.

Fraud I believe this was an attempt to get my debt card information. I typed in the url filled up with an all red page telling me this was a fraudulent site and to not contact or talk to these people. UNSAFE SITE trying to get my credit card, social sec. info etc. It had the phone number 208-537-7505 which if you call it, get nothing but what sounds like a fake ring - No one picks up. The URL they sent in the text led me to the warning site. The text will ask if you used your card and the amt charged.
SCAM 01209707750 Redruth, Cornwall. A posh sounding young man phoned, from telpro marketing medical services. My partner was actually waiting for somebody to get back about a prescription ordered, so nearly got caught out. I really worry about the elderly and vulnerable.
Early morning call; the caller claimed to be from amazon asking about an iPhone order(never made) and said someone must have used my details. They asked if I was on an Android or iPhone, or to go to google on chrome to search for 'Anydesk' ( this App is for remote access, so I refused to download it,) when they realized I understood what it was they hung up. Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. Went through all the comments, I found some painful, while some were funny. My conclusion is most people can still get scammed just because they can’t read in- between the lines. I’ve be victimized. Now I have a resident expert and a professional hacker who helped me recover my funds and so far, it had been worth it. Hackers easily know a bitcoin scam.
