Yet another annoying, unsolicited call supposedly from Banchory (01330). Call was cut off when answered and was an invalid/unknown number when called back.
01224531095 called me and was the employment agency (Traill/McKimmie Recruitment Ltd) which I work through. When you call this number back, you get the reception desk.
Called this number me I phoned them back from a phone withheld number. The message said number doesn’t exist. Scam ……..

Caller definitely had a "British" accent (though I know there isn't just one - he was definitely a native English speaker though) but really didn't annunciate when he was speaking so I struggled to understand him. He backtracked several times when I called him out on what he was saying. 07401878848 is a mobile phone number at an indian call centre, i traced it back through the network. Someone pretending to be from amazon stating that my details have been used to order some high value items and that to cancel it i would have to do as they instructed. They wanted remote access to my computer/tablet/phone so they could steal my data. The idiots didn't realise that they had phoned an it company. when i informed them of their mistake they hung up.
