Fraud suspected. Automated call saying they were from the Chinese Embassy and then switched to speaking in Chinese.

Fraud - I think? This number rang my home landline (I couldn't reach it, I'm disabled). - I did 1471 + 3 - the number was dead. Google didn't find it (but found a few close variations from Southern American countries, not anyone I know then, (we're in UK). This number doesn't ring when dialed on landline or my mobile, (but rang me a good 1/2 minutes)? I checked & checked it again. - How's it possible? - Obviously some kind of "con", "scam" ?!

This number left an answerphne message on my mobile phone, spoke very quickly, no name or company name heard but asked to ring an 033 premium number quoting a reference number they left. Didnt do it.
Calling me a few times. Don't know who it is.
saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

Called 4 times in one day! I thought about calling back but glad I didn t! I google every unknown number that calls me now. As of late, I am getting unknown calls every other day. I ve been called by this number and also 08435571598 - Scottish Power about carrying out a bill comparison . Explained we were not interested, happy as we were and to remove our number from their call list but this has obviously not happened as they still ring me nearly every day at least twice at different times of day & evening = 13 times in total since early September!
