Well spoken Indian man asked for me by name, gave me my address & postcode, said he was from Domestic General and had checked my paperwork and as I had not claimed I can have a discount. Knew what products covered and type of policy, and paid on direct debit. Said paperwork will be here in a week. Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. I hung up an obvious scam call as how can they know who in the household picks up the call as there might be 5 of us with cards and Amazon accounts!

SCAM called from this number telling me that someone was trying to use my visa card online for a charge of £900 and asking me to press 1 to call them and confirm it wasn't me. Didn't call them but rang visa and they confirmed it was a scam. I think if you hit one they ring you back and scam you for your details then rip you off !

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. This number continually calls claiming to be Scottish Power, who want payment for a final bill. Every call quotes a different figure due. At no point can they tell you the address to which this scam is referring to, but the do try to get you to confirm your address to them. The become agitated and aggressive once they realise that you know it is a scam.

SCAM Automated voice, said it was bank security, suspected fraudulent transactions, one from Amazon, one a bank transfer. Have had this before. Checked bank, no transaction had been taken.
