Scam,called me I blocked it as came up suspicious on my phone,then tried again but last 2 digits were different.Blocked again.
SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.
SCAM Although I use Adblock Plus, some websites insist I turn this off and I'm guessing thanks to this my Firefox navigated to a bad page PRETENDING to be Windows Defender finding a Trojan (after the first click inside the browser window it maximises the browser making this look more realistic) and requiring me to call this very phone number. I doubt a caller from Russia would be legitimately calling me, any half-witted scammer would mask their number if calling from such a terrorist state, so I suspect that it was supposed to be a masked UK mobile number with too many digits. Whatever, it is an unwelcome call.

Rip off. Wanted to contact my credit card company so searched for number on line. Clicked a link through and ended up being charged over £9. Cross with myself for being lured into this.
Have not answered this unknown number but multiple call have been made to me from it. No messages every left so for now classing the number as 'Annoying'. If was important a message would have been left. Will update if any further information is found on this number.

I received a call from somebody claiming to be from SSE. He wanted to talk about a new contract. He didn’t specify whether it was gas or electricity. I asked him to send your new prices by email. He seemed upset by this very simple request stating that it was impossible. I told him to call back when he had sent the email. He rang from this number 2 days later and came out with the same nonsense. He said he was Roger. I hung up and complained to SSE.

They called claiming to be 3 Mobile and wanted me to upgrade to a new contract when I only just renewed my contract with the real 3 Mobile a couple of months back and my existing contract is locked for another 10 months.
