Was calling, had all the wrong details about me, was after another name, but then decided they d try with their spiel anyway. Not sure if it s genuine or not, but was trying to get me interested in smart meters for my gas/electric. I told them I was on direct debit and that swiftly ended the call.
Had a call saying my Amazon Prime free trial is about to expire - which is true, but the address does not correspond with Amazon in Leicester and when I called the number back it went to a full mail-box.

SCAM - automated call saying I was under investigation by HMRC and there was a warrant for my arrest for non payment of taxes. Wanted me to press 1, which I didn't - can't be 100% sure but I expect they were after personal/bank details, in any case it's not a legitimate call.
"Natasha" from a claims company, she said that she had information saying I was in an accident that wasn t my fault... never been in any accidents, told her this and she promptly hung up the call. Blocked number and reported to TPS, unfortunately I didn t catch the company name.

I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.
