Called about 11am this morning. Well spoken female voice with English accent said she was an official energy agent in the area and asked if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. I immediately asked her the name of the energy company she worked for. She immediately ended the phone call. Obviously a scam.

This number belongs to an adult male... He has been contacting my eleven year old daughter for a period of (almost) three months... I don't have all the details yet but I do know that my daughter is not the only victim of this predator. I only have a limited amount of information (at the moment) but the information I do have indicates that there are (at least) three other children that this predator has contacted (over a period of months)... These children (the ones I know about) are all aged under fourteen

Fraud This number has been checked several times in the last day. A call from this number (unaswered) was received late at night by a phone that has been hacked two weeks ago and the service provider seems not to have been able to put the account out of reach of the criminal, despite a great deal of correspondence with them. Send me a text on 07356051057 so I can update you on my contacts list' I have not contacted either number as my child would not phrase their message like this, i think may be a scam rather than a wrong number as it is texting from one number asking for a text to another number - ?dodgy?

Claiming they call from HMRC with a court case against your name. After started asking questions about some proof they work for HMRC, they started panicking and said I can look up the case on the website of UK's Supreme Court. Plot twist - there is no Supreme Court in the UK.

SCAM. Called saying they were from O2. When confronted, they got very confused and asked for my CVC number! When asked why they hung up.

Said they were calling from Amazon about a high value order I placed. Asked me to confirm. I knew straight away it was a scam as the caller was trying to panic me into cancelling the order and log into account

The man has an Asian accent and says that because I have not had any call outs for my heating within the last year they are going to reduce my monthly payments to £24.99 and then puts me onto his manager to sort out the paper work, etc. The manager comes on, he also has an Asian accent and says just to clarify things to give him my Bank sort code number. I immediately said no and hung up. definitely a scam, please do not give them any information regarding your bank details.

"Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". Caller did not identify who was calling

This is an actual real firm's number. But the number has been taken over by some scammer who is contacting random people. I did not answer the phone in time, so rang back and the company said they had several people ringing back who had been approached by scammers. Awful for them to be used like this.
