The voicemail was muffled, had music playing in the background, with a woman speaking what sounded like Chinese, though it was hard to tell because the audio quality wasn't very good. I answered the phone to a confident sounding male who I knew was trying to sell something as he began with the usual "I hope I find you well this afternoon". He said our property was on their database as having old fashioned loft insulation. Scam- claim to be working for a company near by and came across my number ( after checking sky shield this number had been calling my phone for the last 4 days whilst I was out) . They claim to save your current BT bill ( even though I am with sky talk talk and pay for the phone ). Don?t argue with them as they get really rude. Just hang up and block them

Fraud: Called me with an automated voice message in a threatening way saying that my phone number was involved in tax fraud. Had to press a number to be directed to what I assumed would be a scammer who would try to take my personal information.
COuld not be bothered to wait. Unsolicited call hung up when we replied. Treat as dangerous.
