The number 01736 735261 called me about 10.30am 28/06/23 and it was a recorded message from an International Banking service stating I had made a payment of £300 to Amazon and £1100 to another provider. Told me to press 1 if correct and 2 to speak with an adviser. Pressed 2 and answered by "This is Officer Stephen, how can I help". When I asked which organisation he represented the phone went dead.

SPAM called today, came up as suspected spam on my mobile so I left it to go to voicemail, no message left. Suspect the warning was on the money.

I've had two calls from this number on my work mobile. I missed the first attempt but answered the second a few minutes ago. She claimed to be calling from Curry's PC World in London and gave a London post code. Strange then to have a number with an Edinburgh area code! It appears that it's trying to sell phones. Very noisy call centre and a very bad line indicating that the call was coming from overseas, probably India judging by the accent. Block the number so you're never bothered by it again.

Automated message saying Amazon Prime membership has ended and you can reactivate by calling and paying £25. I don't have Amazon prime so this is a fraudulent caller.

Someone saying they where from a company called UK direct. Asked if they could ask me 5 quick questions. Then proceeded to ask me more and more personal questions before hanging up once I questioned them.

The standard call center with better spoken india type dialect Insists it a microsoft call !! we have you computer activation you key to prove we are for real !!!!! thank god these idiots dont get it they would no doubt be a menace with two sticks and a bit of string. SCAM Fraud Banking Firstly, a test message was received on a mobile saying it was the Fraud department of a Credit Card company and they would be calling about “recent activity from your card. Expect a call from our Fraud team. Please wait for our call”. That was followed 2mins later by a phone call to the same mobile number saying it was from 02071934897 (London). Not a number associated with a Credit Card company! The male caller asked for the additional card holder by name but hadn’t called that person
