This was a call from a person saying they were from Virgin Media reporting that our internet had been hacked on numerous occasions to cut a long story short I was asked to download the TeamViewer App onto my iPad so they could “put everything right” they were very convincing and I foolishly parted with some money before my switched on son overheard me and hung up the call, I have deleted the app and contacted by bank to report the “Scam” I wanted to forewarn everyone if they receive a call hang up immediate

Attempted scam involving dubious Visa payments, two detailed of £900 and £247. Press 2 to query them and the first thing they ask is for your name, in a heavy foreign accent. Just hang up.

certain this is scam - sounded real for about 30 seconds - quizzing about my energy usage - but when I asked how he knew the usage he just hung up i.e. this was not a call from my supplier

Wanting to know what my cover was and who it was being left to and that they could lower my payments and increase my cover. Asked them who they were.phinong on behalf of! Fraud - most likely. Call from this number, no one on the other end but could hear a load of foreign voices talking about investments - avoid.

SCAM. I received a recorded phone msg from 02089876951 It was a woman who spoke very fast saying my visa card had been used for two large amounts of money this morning. I tried to find the above number, which wasn't found. If it had been my bank or building society, I would have been able to who called me. I think it's a 100% scam.
