Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. This is a scam line purporting to be BT telling you your broadband has been compromised.

Jessica called from "The Phone House Company" clearly calling from an Isian call centre and they have managed to spoof this number as Google shows it belongs to WH SMith

texted me to say a new device had been linked to my bank account and included a link to check my online bank account.

Recording said from Amazon and reported suspicious activity on my account. Said they had put purchase on hold. In fact this is a genuine number from a Joinery business in Thanet. Blocked.

Fraud Car accident Scalpers. Knew way more info than they should have, including names of other people in the house. Told them to remove me from their lists and hung up on me. Very aggressive when questioned, clearly a scam.

They called asking for someone of a different name. I said it's a wrong number and they hung up. However it sounded very much like a scam call centre. After doing 1471 3 called them back and was hearing a recorded message about them being telly tube or telly shute. Never heard of them.

Being called several times by this number. Pretending to be from Santander bank. I have reported this activity from this number. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION IT IS A SCAM!!!!

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

SCAM Said calling from my credit card, but no company name given, about unusual transactions this morning. Wanting me to press 1, 2 or 3 to speak to someone. Supposed to have spent £400 on Amazon and £200 on a western union transfer.

Recieved phone call from 01483577441 at 1045am on Saturday 28th January 2023, Preporting to be from Amazon, stating they were witholding a payment of £700.00 As they suspect it. Asking me to press 1, which of course I didn't. This was a recorded message. I have never bourght anything of that value. This is a scam. beware.
