You receive a genuine text message from O2 with a security code. This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. This is because I am on Carers Allowance. HMRC do not have my mobile number. SCAM

Government just had call to say hmrc tax frord line very bad line

'Chris' told me he was from a Claims Company based in Truro and he was calling about a previous ppi claim that I had been underpaid for. He was quite convincing giving me the company reg no & address so I could confirm he was legit! He knew my address/DOB and the details of my previous claim. The Claims Company only has 2 employees, neither based in London! Definitely a scam beware as he was very convincing and never asked for bank details! He called back today, probably for bank details - I didn't

Asian man claiming to be calling on behalf of Microsoft....usual "your computer security has been compromised". Knew my name and address. Let him go on for a while and then I got fed up/annoyed and just told him he was lying and stopped the call.

SCAM Call center Purported to be from British Gas. I had difficulty understanding what he was trying to tell me because of a strong accent, but he was suggesting a problem with my boiler thermostat? Then went on to talk about a maintenance contract to cover the boiler, radiators and electrical supply. I queried several times about his genuine employment by British Gas and he finally hung up the phone.

SCAM Message saying that I had missed a delivery from Evri. It gives a 7 digit number as a reference. A link to a website to reschedule. Evri requires an 8 digit number.

This call was telling me there is a warranty out in my name for fraud!!!!!
