Heavily accented guy called claiming to be from First Nation bank with regard to PPI claim to the value of ?3000. Apparently they need to take commission (no win no fee) of ?200, but can only take this in the form of Google Play cards... (As if!) Advantis Credit Limited/Solutions collecting on behalf of Southern Water. They are pests and call several times a day, everyday for months. They use many different numbers, including numbers that look like mobile numbers.

Answered call from this number and it was a recorded message advising my BT internet connection was to be disconnected today. Not even a BT customer. Did online checks of number and one site claims call is from Australia!! The number is now blocked. Scammers becoming a real pain.
The number is a Glasgow City Council call out for all schools. Individual schools have similar numbers but end in 00xx. You can t call it direct as it is outgoing only, no incoming allowed. Call the main switchboard and complain

They said they were from Virgin media and my internet had been hacked but sent me links on my mobile and the word Vergin is spelt incorrectly so I ended the call.
Dodgy phone number that is traced firstly to France and then turkey! Very suspicious and I have blocked it.
Called as it s a local number to me (Amesbury) I picked up as could have been a trustworthy number. No sound after repeatedly answering "Hello??" after 10 secs heard garbled nonsense and the line went dead. Tried calling back had 20 secs of silence and no ring tone.
