Just paid my bill over the phone.. the agent asked me at the end of the call if I would be interested in a smart meter and could i do a survey about how I had been dealt with.. I said a definite no to both.. 30 seconds later a call from this 0800 number..... annoying..... how did they get my number.. surely no means no.......

Advantis Debt Collection, keep harassing me with different numbers, to try phish for info. I know for a fact I DO NOT HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING DEBT, so im ignoring their calls, they can do one.

They said they were from Virgin media and my internet had been hacked but sent me links on my mobile and the word Vergin is spelt incorrectly so I ended the call.

Persistent vile caller needs to be dealt with as a criminal.

Very persistent person with strong accent claiming to be from Manchester (Liverpool Number), asking details about a non existent accident. Seems not to know about the telephone ...

Calls every day, sometimes several times a day and usually in the afternoons about a ficticious accident a family member was supposed to have had in 2013.

Like others have said, AO.com trying to sell extra coverage for the appliance. I d seen here that s what they were doing but answered in the end as I was worried they might not deliver it if I didn t, since people had said they asked delivery details. In the end they just repeated what the website had said already regarding the delivery, and then pushed quite hard on the extra coverage, which I really didn t want - I bought from AO.com to save money, not spend extra! Sounded Chinese but couldn't tell a word they were saying. Passed onto several others with similar language problems. Very persistent and carried on when I suggested they were scammers, didn't stop till I put the phone down
