Called a TPS-registered ex-directory number saying "our database indicates that someone in your house has suffered hearing loss due to a noisy working environment". ?...

A text message asked me to call this number urgently, claiming to be XLN telecom. Looked suspicious, so didn t bother.

rang only for like 1 second and then it dropped, even if I picked it up there was nobody at the other end of the phone. I blocked the number.

Caller (an Asian) said he was ringing from an accident investigation solicitor based in London, about the car accident that I had during past 4 years, and they could claim compensation on my behalf. I HAVE NOT had an accident !! Obvious fraud scam. I will also report this to the Action Fraud helpline.

These spam callers are sad ! If they think that they can make money out of this practice, then they are mistaken.

PPI scam - calls my mobile several times a day, everyday. They ask for me by name then go on about I am due a PPI refund. They change their number by 1 digit, but I have blocked all of them so far, so their calls are now auto-rejected. My dad is in a hospice now and only has a short time left, so every time my phone rings, I panic. I m sick of these harassing calls!

Very dangerous they are scam folk trying to put a virus on your computer and when the virus installs the program that will encrypt all your files and your computer will be as useless as a waterproof teabag and can no longer access your computer unless you pay a ransom fee off over ?1,000 to put it right These guys are not from Microsoft !!!!!!

Caller said she was from Scottish Power and wanted detail from my gas and electricity usage. I said that I m not interested in any offer but this number keep ringing me.
