Sounds like lady is calling from a calling centre ..but not in UK Lady with an Asian voice who did not know my name She says she was calling from Amazon . Amazon have never rang me ..if so they would know my name . So I put the phone down . Didn't trust ..possible scam

Potential fraud - claiming that I had been involved in the publication of an anti bullying book which will now be sent out to a local school. Suggesting I could get a discount to pay the bill today.

Sales call ….from three, offering 40% discount on current contract. They didn’t even know my name and I’ve been with them for 20 years….jokes, but they did say they can confirm if I give them my email address….I don’t think so pal, they must of thought I was born yesterday, and I clearly stated to them I think your lying and prove yourself. Of course they couldn’t answer. Don’t trust ii, it’s a scam if I ever saw one.

Doet zich voor als support van blockchain.com noemt zich Mark Webber. Ze sturen een email om net te doen alsof ze geen gegevens van je vragen. Ze sturen met het emailadres [email protected] een mail. Karim called at 14.26. Asked why I'd cancelled my appointment for this evening. Apparently I'd emailed to cancel at 10.47 because my partner has covid. I haven't sent any emails or got any appointments. It must be a scam but I've no idea what he planned to get out of it, maybe if the story fitted my circumstances he'd try to get a cancellation fee off of me. The worrying thing is that he knew my full name. I can't think of any way that could happen.

I was called by 'bank security' from this number.

SCAM - DO NOT RESPOND This was a recorded message saying two potentially unauthorised payments had been made on my card - one of £300 and an international payment of £1,000 - followed by the option of approving the payments or speaking to someone about them. This sounded like a scam ( there was no mention of which bank the call was from), and so it turned out to be when I checked with the bank.

Person claiming to be a loft insulation company and that we had dangerous stuff in our loft. When pushed, they wouldn't give a name of the company. When I told them we were a business they said they had the wrong number. Most likely a scam

Claimed to be from the FCA about a frozen bit coin account. I challenged him to prove he was from the FCA and give me a number to call him back on. He didnt give me a number but tried to say he could prove he was from the FCA bu searching their site for a reference number - the ref number linked to a real person but not someone who worked for the FCA. I hung up and they dint call back - I called the number and it said it couldn't be connected - SCAM
