I live in Scotland, he's calling from London claiming to be a big phone store. They would never ring me like that, nor you either. How could he have got my number legitimately? This number called me at 16h33 on Tuesday 11th April 2023. Man with heavy Indian accent claimed to be from Microsoft. Said I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so he shouldn't call me. Hung up, but he rang again and asked why I'd hung up. I said I'd already explained why, and hung up. He phoned a third time, and in a stroppy tone asked why I'd hung up. So I hung up AGAIN. For a fourth time, he phoned again. Didn't answer, and blocked his number. Obvious nuisance.
Got a call from this number and when i answered it the phone went dead , looks like on these scam sites who use a computer to call numbers and if you answer they keep a record and then later on call you to sell you insurance etc.

This number called & said they were a bank & they had noticed 2 large amounts had been taken out of my account & to press 1 to speak to someone. I just put the phone down

SCAM. An Asian sounding man who called himself Simon called me to say my washing machine warranty had run out. Seeing as our washing machine is about 15 or more years old I do not doubt it. I told him not to try and scam me as I had had these sort of calls before, and hung up. I have since blocked the number.

Received recorded message to say £900 was being taken on my Vesa card.
Call center ' about the incident I had ' politely told where to go. Now blocked. Only answered as had local dialing code accent sure didn't match that.
No idea who it was but the real giveaway is the delay and clicking noise whilst the call transfers to the boiler room in some far off country Didnt give them a chance to speak they got the foxtrot oscar sick to death of it
