Claimed to be a managing director and wanted to sell a course at a place called tile yard. Couldn’t get his words out properly and he didn’t seem to know what he was going on about. Sounded very inexperienced/out of his depth. Would not trust this caller or his business. AVOID.

Then the same message in Chinese. As I did not press a button, the call ended. (And I am not waiting for a parcel). I am very suspicious, as I never got a call from Royal Mail from a mobile number, they normally leave a notification behind to pick it up yourself. Looks like a financial scammer. Said I had two payments about to be made from my bank account, one for Amazon for £250 and one an international money transaction for £900. Checked with my bank - no transactions due.

So let the call run. Pleasant polite lady. Asked if they could pass my details onto a tech investment firm, to send me more info. I felt extra info may be useful, so gave permission. However, contact info they had for me was a very old email address. She reassured me they would not pass my details to anyone else. (We’ll see).
