what seemed to be a recorded message said " Bank fraud squad, your card has been used twice this morning". No other means of identification given. I hung up thinking it was a scam.

SCAM Just received a call from 07970173061. A recorded message with an American accent saying that I was about to be prosecuted for tax avoidance! Put the phone down!

Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.

SCAM This number is after your money. It called me and an automated voice comes in and tells you that large sums of money are being taken from your Amazon account. They ask you to click a number to stop the transactions or to go ahead with the transactions. I hung up. Then later received the same exact message from a different number.

Scam call, spoofing Starling Banks number from abroad, first they will make a small transaction from Groupon or Amazon to make it look as if they know fraudulent activities has taken place on your account and how much for, then they will claim a much larger amount has been attempted but cancelled by them. Once they have you in they'll attempt to extract details of your account, please hang up and call Starling back if this is the case!

A Asian guy called saying I have been awarded a 30% discount for being a loyal customer O2 customer. i Left O2 over a couple of years ago, so I checked the number out online while he was talking and the number was listed as a scam call, so knew it was a scam. He said he was going to pass me to customer service. I then spoke to the next Asian guy who said he would send me a message and to except it (phone malware). Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.

SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Up until this mornings call I had had no emails asking for payment - not that I would answer them anyway. email in my Inbox purporting to be from Bulb (My Energy Company) - I have a DD with them they would not act in this way = DELETED !
