SPAM, possible SCAM. Keeps calling from ‘Aldershot’ asking for phone model, and then says they can offer 40% off a SIM. The number is hosted by an online provider, meaning the number is being spoofed.

Think it's a scam. Claimed to be from my bank reporting suspicious activity. It's called twice in the last few days.

Scam call, allegedly from VISA - I haven't even got a VISA card! Claims my card (the one I haven't got) was used for a large spend on Amazon (it's always Amazon, isn't it?). Funny how this is from the same dialling code as mine (01454) so obviously area-targetting, and trying to make it look genuine, like as if it's from a local bank.

This is a Bedford number so it will be the scammers at J Talk pretending to be your BT manager. Somehow got my personal mobile number but when told the time of day he rang the company number immediately. BT, how do these people obtain private details, someone must be passing them on?

The callers from this number are scammers. They called claiming to be 3 Mobile and wanted me to upgrade to a new contract when I only just renewed my contract with the real 3 Mobile a couple of months back and my existing contract is locked for another 10 months. When I asked the idiot to email me the offer to review, they asked me for my email address and if they were really 3 Mobile they would already have it in their records. Scam Number... When answered, you hear the "hiccup" meaning you were on an Autodialer and because you've answered, the "hiccup" sound is where the computer is connecting a scam agent. Personally, any call I hear that sound, I hang up, search the number and 9 out of 10 times (9/10) end up Barring the Number. Hope this helps.

Caller claimed to be from Amazon regarding a subscription charge for their Prime service valued at £199. Then asked me to press 1 if I needed to speak with an service colleague. I didn’t respond and have blocked the number.

SCAM I was text by number 07311 255050 by someone pretending to be my child in trouble asking me to WhatsApp them on this number 07564739632. DO NOT give these people money. If your child isn’t with you, call them in their original number to see if they’re ok. This is fake and a scam.

Missed a call from this No. and called it back, told me that my life insurance policy was out of date or words to that effect, told him he was talking a lot of s**t and blocked this number, yet another SCAM !!!!!!

Currys/PC World calling about a promotion for a mobile phone package. When I said I wasn't interested they immediately hung up, so would imagine it was actually a scam.
