Asian lady called. Did not catch the name but said she was could claim back interest that had been wrongly charged to all my bank accounts and building society accounts over the past 20 yrs due to a new government ruling. She knew my name and address and telephone number, although she did get the postcode wrong. Did not correct her. Asked her to put the info in writing as was wary of any cold callers. She said OK and hung up. Interested to see if any info comes through the post!!

This is number your loved one from prison.
They called me 3 times today saying they are from People's Opinion. They knew my name, address etc. They then told me that they weren't selling, but carrying out a survey on the electrical appliances I have in my home. They wanted me to confirm my details which I refused to do. I wasn't going to tell them where I live, all of my personal details and what I have in my home in case a couple of weeks later I'm burgled!

SCAM / SPAM. Knew my name. Told me he was calling about my car accident. Got abusive when I said I didn’t drive. I put the phone down and he called back 5 times from the same number, then a sixth using an ‘international’ number. I rejected the call each time and then blocked the number.

Long silence then automated female voice said "This call is from the Talktalk Technical Department to inform you that your internet connection will be cut off.....press 1 to remain connected or 2 to be cut off." Flight delay scam, why cannot the companies who supply these scammers with there line be sued for the nuisance calls it would soon stop or do checks on these people so that the members of the public donnot have to suffer this. But alas the companies only care about one thing PROFITS.

An Asian lady, possibly Indian, and English not her first language, calling herself "Alesha, from Accident Helpline. I m calling about your recent car accident." I asked her to repeat her name, which she did. I then asked her for her surname, but she hurriedly hung up. Clearly a fraudulent company, wanting to prey on gullible people.
