I got a text from this number pretending to have a verification number for Microsoft. I refreshed the website and got Microsoft to send me another a verification number. When Microsoft text you, it will say MICROSOFT. If a mobile number comes up, DO NOT USE THAT CODE.

This is another scam - it seems to have switched from a London number to a Manchester number. They are informing people about a 'possible refund from HMRC', in an Asian accent from a call centre environment.

Received a text today from 07520619511 about a labourers job required by CLS and giving a landline number for CLS to apply. I am a 68 yr old woman and not in the market for employment let alone a labourer. The text was sent by mobile 07520619511 which when checked on this site is a SCAM number

SCAM This is a proper scam. They are pretending to be ee and they are trying to give you an update. They knew some bits about me when they called but I got suspicious when they started asking for bank details. They changed my account password and ordered an iPhone 14. I called ee straight after I spoke to them as I was suspicious. It turns out they even changed my email as I couldn’t access my account anymore!!!!!!!

Told me they were ringing as I had a car on finance; I don't. Then asked if I had purchased a car on finance or PCP between 2014 and 2019, again, answered no. Then asked if I had mortgage or loan recently, again said no. Then ended the call. Hopefully with those answers, they won't bother calling again.

This is a scam. They phoned me on my (not a smart) mobile. An automated American voice stated they were from HMRC informing me that I owed money and they were sending the dept collectors around. To discuss this matter further and settle the debt I should press; 1. Problem is, I did my Tax Return in April and don't owe any tax. I've not owed tax for years. Phone stated fraud, so not answering ever and wishing the mentally ill cockwomble that attempted to call me a slow and painful death. That's where you can shove your fraud diddums.

Bogus caller purporting to be from amazon, used my name which I confirmed and he asked for confirmation that I had ordered a new i-Phone 12 which I had not. This is just a bluff/smokescreen to raise anxiety and alarm. Caller asked how I usually access Amazon and requested that I login to my account. My curiosity about the call stopped here. I told the caller that I did not trust the call and hung up. To confirm, there has been no Amazon activity on my account. The caller simply wanted me to open it.
