Text message (scam) claiming to be BPO (a real debt collection agency used by BT) on behalf of BT. Needs you to urgently text a number for a call back.

Yorkshire accent, Exeter number. Claimed they were calling on behalf of the Association of British Insurers. When pressed, admitted it was actually the "Motor Advice Bureau". Pressed further, he admitted it was a personal injury (or as he put it, "personal welfare") claims referral. I informed him that he was potentially committing the offence of fraud by false representation under the Fraud Act, and that calls to my number are recorded and may be used in evidence.Had information on a genuine crash. Like the rest of you we texted for wildlife info and despite saying we cant make a donation we have been bombarded with nuiscence calls ever since. Sometimes as many as 3 a day each time hanging up before answering

Four calls in one day from this number. It's a computer scam. They claim to be from the maintenance department and my computer has a fault. They do not use the name Windows...

Caller rang, but hung up after a brief ring. I am presuming it s a scammer hoping I will call back.

Scam- claim to be working for a company near by and came across my number ( after checking sky shield this number had been calling my phone for the last 4 days whilst I was out) . They claim to save your current BT bill ( even though I am with sky talk talk and pay for the phone ). Don?t argue with them as they get really rude. Just hang up and block them

Hung up as soon as I answered.

Keeps ringing during my work hours, very harassing. I have no connection with this telemarketer.

Guy calls saying I qualify for a refund due to a prior overpayment and that he can help me claim it. I ask where he s calling from, he says "consumer services". Starts asking for my banking details and I have to interrupt him again to ask what company the "consumer services" relates to. He answers with Reactiv Media and the continues badgering me for bank details. I stop him to say I don t recognise the name of the company and if he could remind me what service I purchased from them. He hung up.

Phone rang couple of times no chance to answer so guessing spam

Called a couple of times, but cut off when I picked up. I think it is a spoofed ID as the first 5 digits are a local number but the next two appear ficticious.

SCAM! Called from HMRC asking personal info, IGNORE IT.

This caller phoned me in the last 5 minutes and spoke so indistinctly that I terminated the call. Judging by other comments I m also suspicious of this caller.

Called asking for my pension details saying they need to send out some new documents. Felt uncomfortable half way through call & asked them to confirm my scheme number. He couldn t & said their info appears to be wrong. He was very friendly & polite but nothing rang true. He said he will confirm his info & ring me right back. He didn t but I rang my pension company who confirmed it was nothing to do with them & they ll investigate. Fraudsters, do not tell them anything!

1 day agoDPD is listed as based in NI. A fake dpd faker message claims to miss you & not find you at home in NI even when you are at home & ordered nothing. All fake claims. Beware of fake cheats.Reply
