Fraud Scam. Vodafone support website has a page on which to verify that a number is calling from Vodafone. This is not a Vodafone number. Here's the information I could get from them before they hung up. The caller claimed to be from Vodafone promotional dept offering a new phone upgrade and 2 year contract. Caller was inconsistent in what they said. Once saying a verification email would arrive in 30 minutes then saying 1 hour. They switched for no reason between talking about iphone and Samsung phones.

Fraud A friend of mine had money disappearing from her bank account, she's Burmese and her English isn't so good so I looked into it for her. Turns out it's a company called Florist-world.com that took 2 euro from her account then took 24 euro every 2 weeks. I finally found emails from them in her spam folder, they'd somehow managed to get hold of her debit card number and were taking 24 Euro every 2 weeks, the last email said that amount was increasing to 44 Euro. A call from this number, did not answer then received a text saying that I called about generator and asked me if I will collect today which I had not called. Could be a scam

Called me asking who I am. Then I asked her how she calls me without knowing who she’s calling so she said I called her and ordered 25pizzas .I then cut it off . They called back but I didn’t answer.

Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.
