Odd, number appeared on phone but didn t ring. Must have been intercepted by call blocker on BT phone.

Fifth time they have phoned me. Today, I decided to play with them and told them that indeed I had been in an accident. Made up a load of details and then after around 30mins told them I had been playing with them and I hope I had wasted their time like they have wasted mine over the last few weeks. Even then he was trying to persuade me I had whiplash and when I told him I had not and had not been in an accident he said "You must not know what whiplash is!" Missed call - Has called me on numerous times, never leaves any messages. I have no idea who this is other than I can see its a London Number. As I dont know who's calling me, I dont answer - right pain, I cant seem to find out who is calling me.

They call me to tell me I won a family holiday and they asked if I own my home and if I am between 30-60 years old, and then they asked if our annual income is over £30,000 and when I said no she said that I do not qualify.

These days it is well worth having caller display on a land line - mobiles have it anyway. So for all these callers, 0845-, unavailable, withheld, etc., just lift the receiver and drop it back immediately, or, on a mobile, answer the call and immediately shut it down. This stops answerphone message.

Scam- claim to be working for a company near by and came across my number ( after checking sky shield this number had been calling my phone for the last 4 days whilst I was out) . They claim to save your current BT bill ( even though I am with sky talk talk and pay for the phone ). Don?t argue with them as they get really rude. Just hang up and block them

They rang to say they were conducting a survey on behalf of BBC AND ITV . Allegedly to improve TV viewing. I can't see the BBC doing anything alongside the itv.

This number is being used by a fake "Microsoft support center", hoaxing people into giving away credit card details and/or installing malware on their computer.

Who does this number belong to. They don't leave a message they just use a different phone each time. They are based in Cumnock, Scotland.

This caller purports to represent several companies in the advertizing business. On the face of it they are legit but on police and Solicitor advice steer well clear unless you want to be skinned by their relentless monetary tactics.

Cold call about my accident. which I had several wweks ago. they told me my insurer had contacted them, and when I said < who, AA?> (not the real one), they said yes, they had not my name, or any details and were trying to get info.. beware.
