Fraud - I think. A male with I think and Asian accent called from this number. He asked for me by name and said he was calling from Microsoft then asked if I was the main user of the computer in my hone. I asked "Which Computer is that then?" and he hung up. Another number check site has lots of people checking this number and it appears to be from various different places so I think it must be an attempt to access a persons computer or something like that.
Claimed they got my number from a prize giving website I may have visited ages ago. It s a work number I don t give out. They are attempting to sell a service reclaiming PPI for loans/credit cards.

SCAM / SPAM. Received a text message this morning, claiming they were Loveholidays, Loveholidays only offer a live chat service. There are also claims that there are scam callers. Please don't believe these people! If you're waiting for a refund from loveholidays, the refund will automatically go on the card you paid with, so there's no reason for them to ask for your card details.

Received automated call on 11 Nov 2016 at 8:59. Female voice with Indian accent said "I am ... calling from BT and it is about your broadband line". I said I knew she was not from BT and she hung up. This scam has been going on for several days. It appears to be a spoof number, you cannot call back.

The manager I spoke to was rude, and as I said I would contact ofcom re the unsolicited call, he said that’s ofgem you F****ng idiot. No-one there, until eventually a real woman says "Hi, I n Chantelle Brown of [garbled] and I ve been informed you ve been involved in a road accident that wasn t your fault." at which point you put the phone down. Clearly an illegal automated dialling system, passing any calls that are answered on to one of their human operators who then reads from a script. Get a nicer job, "Chantelle".
