Automated message when you pick up that says ive avoided tax of some sort and that I need to press 1 to speak to someone to avoid it going to court. After pressing 1 it just goes silent and when you call it back it just says persons phone is switched off. Im based in Wales and call is from Manchester so will assume its a scam

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Number 02071124802 phoned me and said they was from start up loans. www.startuploans.co.uk and wanted me to transfer them £58 for the loan to be secured under the insurance. They provided me with a person called Jamin bank details which straight away is strange for a company. I was told it was the managers details as money transferred to the company always bounces back. Said they were from CarphoneWarehouse. Offered me a deal on an iPhone 13. I said I had recently started a contract so wasn't interested. She said they would buy out my current contract and also were not trying to get me on a conract either. Sounded super scammy!

Gave all bogus information and he abruptly hung up after realizing that I am taking him for a ride... Very likely a fraud call trying to extract information

Immediate hang-up. From entries on other sites anyone who manages to answer gets a silent/dead line. Exactly 24 hours laters calls begin claiming to be whatever mobile provider your voicemail said you were with (fake dealer scam). Clearly this line is being used to find out who you're with for slightly more convincing fake mobile provider scam calls. SCAM

I got a call from this number saying they were amazon and someone had purchase a £300 phone on my account. When I told him to cancel it he asked me to log on to my playstore account. When I said to him it was a scam and that I was not stupid he swore at me and ended the call

SCAM Indian sounding lady, rang twice this week saying they were from BT openreach that there had been a security breach on my internet line trying to hack my broadband, she couldnt tell me any details, so assuming this was a scam I said its fine theres nothing on my laptop for hackers to get, she then wanted my mobile phone details to show me what was happening, I then told her I didn't bring my phone to work and she got angry and said fine if you dont want to protect your line then hung up !!
