Repeatedly calling, to sort an accident I ve never had

Birkhill underwriters called asking for my dad, asking if he had been in an accident. Wouldn t tell me where he got my details but told me he would remove them from their database. I don t normally answer numbers I don t know but did this one as the dialling code is from my town and could have been my work. Number now blocked.

As for the others, claimed to be from HMRC and said I would be arrested shortly if I didn t press 1. Obvious scam despite the well-spoken English middle class accent recorded in the message played.

Called my mobile just before 1.0pm today. It rang 4 times and they hung up before it went to voice mail. I always take the view that if I am not expecting a call from the inco...

Received numerous calls from this number. Several times I ignored the call thinking it was a telemarketer. Several times I answered to get silence or a disconnect. Eventually they got through. this is the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow register. they claim they are contacting all the people on the register to ask them to contribute £10 per month.

I don't know this number and don't want to receive calls from it.

This number rings me at least 4 times every day, I work full time so hang up the phone and get a voicemail message advising the call is from a company called Clean/Clear Slate regarding my debts.

They are an accident claim company and ring and hang up on everyone it seems! Total scam!!!

They said I might be due a refund from some form financing I took out in 2011, I new it wasn t me because I was incarcerated from 2008-2013. when I told them this they hung up.

opens by saying thank you for your order, never ordered anything put the phone down.

I get a call at least twice a week and I m sure it s the same company as well but I ve never had ppi claim thing, but when you call the number back it says something about claiming a delayed holiday fight. I ve not been on holiday for over 11 years. I ve repeatedly asked for my number to be taken off the system. But when I ask for the company s name or to speak to the manager, they hand the phone up. This number called while I was out today. I rang it back later and got a message that it could not accept calls. My caller display indicated that it was an "international" number. Because it was clearly not from Liverpool, I set my call blocker against it. I note that it has subsequently rung again. My blocker rejected it.

A man called to sell me cavity wall insulation. When i tried to find out details about his company he told me "You should go to hell". When I asked his name he said it was "none of your business". He then told me to "fuck off."

I receive calls from this number daily, two or three times a day at any time. I don t even remember when they started but it has got to the point now where I don t answer any calls on either my landline or mobile unless I know who is calling. I don t know who they are but assume if it was anyone or anything important they would leave a message.

This number calls on average once a day - to a business number. I press 9 as instructed to remove from database but nothing happens. As Robbiefan says if you press 5 to speak to someone they just put the phone down on you when they realise there is nothing in it for them.
