01772 333348 has rung me loads of times, even at 6.20 am There is only ever a bleeping sound, nobody ever speaks. When you put the phone down the line is blocked for a few minutes afterwards. Whoever they are, and whatever they want, this is unacceptable and constitutes harassment.

Claimed they were informed of our car accident. When I asked for their name or company, they hung up. Calling them back, I was unable to call the caller ID from their call.

Scam call claiming to be from Microsoft. Other reports say this is also used for a scam recycling. Be wary do not trust anyone phoning from here. I got the number from 1471.

The official Pension Adisory Service says No Cold Calls . I ve had 5 in the past 2 months. Each time I tell them that I am a pensions advisor (even though I am not, but do work in finance) They don t give up. I have finally recorded a conversation with them that if they call me again I will consult the CAB about harassment charges .

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Pakastani/Asian woman wanted to speak to my boss. I said he wasn t in - was there anything I could help with - who was she& where was she calling from? She put phone down. I called back & spoke to another Asian/Pakistani woman said I had just spoken to a very rude woman who put phone down when I asked questions. She then shouted Hey Hey Hey and then put phone down.

Constructaquote an insurance company following up on a quote

This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.
