I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. I refuse to change my number though if you call me, I think it is only right that you introduce yourself first. Since they did not I know they have something to hide!!! Caller said she was calling from Amazon and someone had bought a phone on my account and they had been sending me emails yesterday. Checked Amazon account and all email folder...

This guy called to say he s from Windows and my computer is hacked. He gave a licence number & wanted me to get on line to check it was the same as my computer s so he then could stop the hacker rather than having to shut my computer down. He then gave me his number to call back, got very forceful when I didn t and again when I said didn t have time to do it. Told him he was rude and hang up. Microsoft have nothing to do with this.

Calling twice a day and texting to try to quote for windows. No chance now! I blocked one number, now they re calling from another.

These people are a bunch of bullies. If you see this number, don t pick it.

They are not back on track loans, proper loan company s do not use mobile numbers, this is scam and needs reporting to action fraud, as what he/she is doing is a criminal offence and if it is reported on the national TPS if they call again they are breaking the law, i am so fed up of these types of callers i do not know where they get these numbers of ours but i intend to find out somehow

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.
