I always answer my phone with my first name and surname. As soon as I did so, the caller hung-up. I ve had this kind of call on dozens of occasions over the past few years, but on this occasion my 1471 actually returned 0208 870 1001. When I tried the number, it returned a "this number does not accept incoming calls" message.

Female rang up saying I might be entailed to energy savings in my postcode area. Confirmed address, house type, rough age and number of occupiers. Said she would check the system and call back if i was eligible, or not call back if I wasn t. Bit odd...

Indian Caller "About an accident you have had in the last 2 years" I said "I m glad you called as I had an accident this morning" The reply came back "was it a car accident and were you alone in the car" I told him that " I was alone and I hit an oncoming car at over 90mph and I was at the time being chased by 2 police cars and ran away from the accident and I had hurt my thumb^ he then pretended not to hear me and hung up if they don t want to be wound up they should not call me.
