Looks like a classic "You owe tax" asked for my name and occupation and obviously I gave completely false info and yet they carried on like I just confirmed my identity.
Auto dialer claiming to be from Amazon about an iPhone purchase I hadn't made.
Fraud I enquired about a pension transfer from the Netherlands to UK and cot contacted by Online Mortgage Advisor (OMA) dsiplaying this nr. I have not been further contacted and I can't get in contact with OMA either as the nr is not callable, which is a breach with OFCOM regulations.
Just rang and no one answered. I blocked

Claimed to be from an insurance company wanting to renew an annual policy with a discount . I didn't recognise the details of this policy and I became suspicious when they asked for my bank details . When I refused to give these the called became irritated and annoyed so I said that I was not giving out anything over the telephone . Received several more calls which I ignored . Checked this number on reverse lookup which suggests that this is a Vodafone number. I then I checked on Vodafone 'is it us calling' which says that this is not a Vodafone number

A legit company is linked to the full number I.e (0)122 etc but it's displaying at +44. Received call from this number today and it was a bad line so I was asking is anybody there at the same time as the guy started with 'Hi there maam, this is.....' he then disconnected the call. So no idea who or what company the number is from. It did come up on my phone as being London location and I am Manchester.

Safe number Is actually an Indian guy calling who refers you to O2 who sign you up for their Sim Only deal. Shame they have a dodgy-sounding Indian guy getting them customers, because it makes O2 look dodgy. FYI: I have received all genuine emails and contract info from O2 and... I received my SIM! 100% legit (apart from the guy calling millions of numbers from India hoping to get someone to say yes so he can earn his referral commission from O2!).
